DIY multitouch pad + virtual window

1) DIY multitouch pad
You can build your own multitouch pad due to Seth Sandler who has programmed a software. Just take a box, place a webcam inside of it and then cover the box with a sheet of paper. Watch the video below:

It works though for me not as smooth as in the video. For a first try I recommend downloading from here:
a) the (old) software
b) manual

2) Virtual window
You can create the illusion of a window on your pc monitor by using head tracking (see also my post here). Unlike the IR track method by Johnny Chung Lee which uses IR LEDs there’s also the possibility of using face recognition. Thanks to Mr. Doob you can try the virtual window yourself here. All you need is a webcam and Adobe Flash Player (watch video below).
